Russia Praises OPEC+ Decision to Cut Oil Production, Deems Opponents U.S. Chaos
MOSCOW, KOMPAS.COM Russia on Sunday (9/10/2022) praised OPEC+ for its decision to cut its oil production.
Russia says OPEC+ decision to cut oil production successfully fought the chaos that the US sowed in the energy market global.
Earlier, OPEC+ announced that it would cut its oil production by up to two million barrels per day on Wednesday (5/10/2022).

OPEC+, which includes oil-exporting countries, is added Russia, said that the production cuts were aimed at stabilize world oil prices.
The decision to cut oil production previously received strong opposition from the US, as reported by Reuters .
Now, the decision to cut oil will further strain relations between the White House and the Saudi Arabian royal family.
The White House is trying hard to prevent OPEC+ from cutting output.

Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov praised the OPEC+ decision as very good action.
It is a balanced, thoughtful and planned work of countries, which take responsible positions within OPEC, against US actions, Peskov said.
This at least balances the chaos caused by America, continued Peskov, quoted by Russian news agencies.
