Compensation that Passengers Must Received if Travelling Travels
KOMPAS.COM Train passengers are entitled to receive compensation from PT Indonesian Railways (KAI) if there is a delay.
This has been regulated in the Minister of Transportation Regulation (Permenhub) PM 63 of 2019.
The Permenhub contains the Minimum Service Standards for Peoples Transport by Train.

1. INTERCITY TRAIN DELAY MORE THAN 1 HOUR
Passengers can cancel the ticket and get a full refund ticket costs.
If the ticket does not cancel, the passenger must receive:

2. INTERCITY TRAIN DELAY AT DESTINATION STATION
– Food and soft drinks at the third hour of delay
– Heavy food and drink at the fifth hour late
– Passengers can continue their journey with other transportation and get ticket replacement money
