TRIBUNNEWSBOGOR.COM, MEGAMENDUNG – Bad weather raining for a long time long time on Sunday (9/10/2022) afternoon until last night caused Landslides occurred at a number of points in Bogor Regency.
In the Megamendung District, Bogor Regency, landslides reported to occur in 6 villages.
It was recorded that 11 houses in 6 villages were damaged, said Kapolsek Megamendung AKP Eddy Santosa told reporters, Monday (10/10/2022).
AFFECTED
The police chief explained that the landslide was caused by high intensity rain that flushed the Megamendung and surrounding area plus an earthquake that occurred on Sunday afternoon.
Thank God there were no casualties, AKP Eddy Santosa.
Meanwhile, he said, his party is still collecting data related to whether there are residents houses or other public facilities that was damaged by this bad weather.

The police chief appealed to the public to remain vigilant regarding aftershocks.
We appeal to residents to always be vigilant regarding the presence of aftershocks in the middle of the rain that almost flushed most of the Bogor regency area, he said.
