9-Man Eater Tiger Killed, Hunted by 200 People
CHAMPARAN, KOMPAS.COM – Indian police shot dead tiger-eating tiger humans who have killed at least nine people.
The tiger hunting operation involved 200 people including elephants tracker, said the relevant officer on Sunday (9/10/2022).
The tiger became a terror to the locals on the outskirts of the Reserve Valmiki Tiger Realm in Champaran, eastern India.

At least six people have died in the past month including one woman and her eight-year-old son on Saturday (8/10/2022).
Even before the last two prey, the local authorities had already established the tiger–reportedly a three- or four-year-old male–as man-eater which means it can be shot.
The AFP news agency reported that previous attempts to paralyzing the animal failed.
Two teams went to the forest with two elephants on a Saturday afternoon and the third wait where we thought the tiger would come out–and we fired five bullets to kill him there, said the police chief local named Kiran Kumar to AFP .
Accompanied by the sound of a tin container being beaten by local residents, it takes time about six hours for the team–consisting of eight shooters and approx 200 forestry department officials–to complete the operation that, said Kumar.
Authorities say vast sugarcane fields make it easy for tigers hide and attack the local villagers as well as their livestock.
The victims include a 12 year old girl who was dragged from her bed on Wednesday evening, reports said.
