On April 15, Moscow accused UKRAINE of sending helicopters to attacked a village in the Bryansk region of Russia, which was close to Ukrainian border.
In what can be considered a backlash, the local media Russia citing the Russian Ministry of Defense claims that S-400 air defense system shoots down one of the two helicopters Mi-8s were involved in the attack.
A statement from the Ministry of Defense stated that the helicopter was shot down about 30 kilometers into UKRAINE in Chernihiv region.
In the Chernihiv region, the S-400 complex of the Russian Armed Forces shot down a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter, which attacked a settlement in the Bryansk region. The helicopter returns to base after the attack on a residential building in the village of Klimovo, the statement reads.

Intelligence agencies have previously said that Russia would carried out aggressive attacks in eastern UKRAINE.
However, after the Ukrainian attack on the Russian cruiser, the situation became much worse than expected.
