ST PETERSBURG, KOMPAS.TV A Russian general who his troops bombarded the Ukrainian port city of Mariupol, namely Mayor General Vladimir Frolov, buried Saturday (16/4/2022) yesterday in St. Petersburg after being killed in a battle.
Vladimir Frolov was the deputy commander of the 8th Army, who identified by Russian media as one of the forces that attacked Mariupol for weeks.
As in the Associated Press report, Sunday (17/4), Governor St Petersburg Alexander Beglov issued a statement saying, Frolov died heroically in battle without saying di where or when he was killed.
Photos on Russian news sites show his grave at the St. Cemetery. Petersburg filled with red and white flowers.
