JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Every Easter celebration, Easter eggs become one most frequently encountered.
Decorating and eating boiled eggs is a tradition that originated in the East Central which spread to Eastern Europe until it was adapted by the Church Orthodox.
In the 1870s, Easter eggs were changed to chocolate egg-shaped. This chocolate is decorated and colored. Nevertheless, not a few still use decorated or colored eggs to celebrate Easter.

Not as decoration, Easter eggs have meaning for people Christianity, namely as a symbol of rebirth.
Easter eggs are not made from plastic eggs, but real eggs. So, is it safe to eat colorfully painted Easter eggs?
