UGM Rector Holds Press Release Related to Jokowi’s Diploma Lawsuit

Launching Kompas.com , President Jokowis elementary, middle and high school diplomas are being sued by a resident named Bambang Tri Mulyono on Monday (3/10/2022) to the Central Jakarta District Court.
The lawsuit is registered in case number 592/Pdt.G/2022/PN Jkt.Pst with the classification of cases of unlawful acts (PMH).
The lawsuit is related to allegations of using a fake diploma while participating The 2019 Presidential Election (Pilpres).

One of them, the plaintiff requested that Jokowi be declared to have do so in the form of making information that is not true and/or provide fake documents in the form of elementary, junior high, and high school diplomas on behalf of Joko Widodo.
For information, Jokowi had studied at the Department of Forestry, Faculty of Forestry, Gadjah Mada University (UGM).
Before obtaining an engineering degree from UGM, Jokowi completed the thesis first with the title Study of Consumption Patterns Plywood in Final Use in Surakarta Municipality.
From there, Jokowi used his college knowledge to study structure wood, its uses, and its technology.
While studying at UGM, Jokowi was active as a member of Mapala Silvagama, which is one of the semi-autonomous organizations located in the Faculty of UGM Forestry.
