The Story of Meri, 15 Years Old Being TKW in Malaysia to 17 Years Detained by Employer, Now Returning to the Motherland

KOMPAS.COM – Meri Hapsari (32), a resident of Jetis Village, Loano District, Purworejo, Central Java finally returned to Indonesia after 17 years detained by his employer in Sarawak, Malaysia.
Meris return cannot be separated from the struggle of her younger brother, Arif Budi Susanto.
Meri left for Malaysia in 2005 when she was 15 years old illegally through fake service agents.
It is suspected that Meris identity was faked because when she left, she had not yet have an ID card.
Arif said that at that time his brother had just graduated from elementary school and was brought by an agent to a hospital Tangeran, Banten and was offered a job in Malaysia with the lure high salary.

MALAYSIA, REVEALED STILL STILL UNDERAGES
Going there (Tangerang) just graduated from elementary school, apparently after arriving there, invited to Malaysia, lured by money or a big salary Wong, his name is still young, he is interested, he said on Saturday (9/10/2022).
The first five years or to be precise until 2010, the family in Purworejo cant reach Meri. They were resigned to the fate of Meri.
After five years, Meri sent a letter to his family in the country. However, their communication is very limited.
Meri is known to work as a household assistant and during work prohibited from communicating with his family.
Meri also told me that he sent a letter to his family personally stealthily when his master is out of town.
