WNI Becomes Mistargeted Death Victim in US Shootings
SAN ANTONIO, KOMPAS.COM A woman of Indonesian descent became a death toll in mistargeted attack in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas, USA.
The victim named Novita Kurnia Putri alias Vita Brasil, aged 25 year. According to the report Indonesian Lantern , the victim was shot several times on the face.
Vita Brasil reportedly killed by a barrage of bullets at her home while typing on Tuesday (4/10/2022) in the morning.
According to a number of information obtained from various sources, Vita Brazil is an Indonesian citizen (WNI).
Meanwhile, NBC News reports that law enforcement officers arrested two teenagers who allegedly fired 100 bullets in the house that was wrong.
The shooting took place on Tuesday at around 1:30 am local time.
Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said officers initially were patrolling the neighborhood when they heard a series of shot.

After that, they saw a vehicle running away from the area at high speed.
Law enforcement officers finally managed to stop the vehicle and arrested two suspects, aged 14 and 15, respectively.
Salazar said on Saturday (8/10/2022) that the two were charged with first degree murder and assault with weapons turn off.
