Germany Exasperated on Ukraine, President’s Visit Rejected but Continues to Ask for Weapons

It was considered an insult that ruffled the gait German diplomacy as Ukraine seeks more weapons from Berlin, as reported by Straits Times , Thursday (14/4/2022).
Ukraines presidential office says it wants a German chancellor instead Olaf Scholz who came to Kyiv or Kiev.
However, Scholz gave an indication he had no plans to visit in the near future.
Asked by RBB public radio when he would follow in the footsteps of the other EU leaders and traveled to Kyiv, Scholz avoided the question and emphasized his phone call which very often with President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Berlin furrowed its brows at German President Frank-Walter .s remarks Steinmeier on Tuesday (12/4/2022) that he offered to visit Ukraine.
However, Kiev said he was not wanted to come to Kyiv.
The move against Steinmeier, the recent former foreign minister this admits guilt in an overly conciliatory attitude towards Moscow in the past, was widely seen as an insult diplomatic relations with Germany.
Scholz said, he was irritated, to make it sound more politely, noting that Steinmeier strongly condemned the Russian aggression.
It would be good to accept it, Scholz said while talking to RBB radio.
