The bridge connects four hamlets in Kecapi Village, namely Dukuh Kedungjogo, Tempur Hamlet, Jotan Hamlet, and Krajan Hamlet.
The 58-year-old man revealed his initial intention to build the bridge for help local people, especially when going to work.
The reason is that before there was a bridge, he told Tribun Muria, there were many people struggling to cross the river.
On the basis of that concern, the man who is familiarly called Mbah Kholil determined to build a bridge.
The range is Rp 3.6 billion to Rp 3.7 billion. Everyones personal funds and there is an aspiration fund, said Mbah Kholil.
He admitted that he did receive assistance from several parties, such as assistance from the local village head in the form of 40 sacks of cement, his close friend 160 bags of cement, and aspiration fund assistance of Rp. 150 million from one of the a member of the Jepara DPRD to build a bridge fence.
The bridge itself was completed in three months. To Tribune Muria, Kholil said the development process started around October 2019 and finished December 2019.
My target for 2020 is complete, he explained.
