TRIBUNNEWS.COM – Emmanuel Macron has won the Presidential election French.
Macron beat far-right candidate Marine Le Pen during the second round of elections, Sunday (24/4/2022).
Citing CNN , Macron got 58.55% of the vote Sunday, making him the first French leader to be re-elected in 20 year.
He and Le Pen advanced to the second round after each finishing in first and second place, among the 12 candidates advancing to the round first on April 10.
While the contest is a re-election match President of France 2017.

In the first round, left-wing and right-wing candidates contributed more than 57% of the ballot.
The voter abstention rate for the second round was 28%, according to French Interior Ministry, highest for second round since 2002.
In his victory speech, Macron vowed to become president for every citizen.
He then thanked his supporters and acknowledged that many people, as in 2017, voted for him only for block the extreme right wing.
