As reported by the Associated Press , Friday (15/4), the US Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield calls it just a grim example of the effect Russias unwarranted, unjust and senseless war towards the most vulnerable in the world.
Linda Thomas-Greenfield at a UN Security Council meeting discussing War-torn Yemen says WFP World Food Program identify the poorest country in the Arab world as one of the countries most affected by rising wheat prices and lack of imports from Ukraine.
Russias Deputy Ambassador to the United Nations Dmitry Polyansky replied: that comment.
The main factor of instability and the source of the current problem is not Russian special military operations in Ukraine, but the sanctions measures that imposed on our country, which cuts off any supply from Russia and from the supply chain, other than the required supply countries in the West, in other words energy, says Polyansky.
If you really want to help the world avoid a crisis food, you must lift the sanctions that you yourself impose, sanctions your own choice, and then the poor countries will soon feel the difference, says Polyansky.
And if youre not ready to do that, then dont get involved in incitement, and do not mislead everyone.

INDONESIA AND 5 COUNTRIES ASKED FOR MOBILIZATION ASSISTANCE Russias Deputy Ambassador to the United Nations, Dmitriy Polyanskiy, said the cause of the worlds food insecurity is the United States sanctions and Western countries, and if sanctions are lifted, poor countries will immediately feel the benefits.
