Previously, a photo circulated that claimed to be President Jokowis diploma on social media accompanied by a narrative that the academic documents are fake.
The photo went viral and became a public discussion for netizens in the media social media to bring up the hashtag SupportFalseIjazahIjazah on Twitter.

As previously reported by KOMPAS.TV , a resident named Bambang Tri Mulyono on Monday (3/10/2022) sued the President Joko Widodo to the Central Jakarta District Court for the alleged case the use of fake diplomas when participating in the Presidential Election in 2019.
The lawsuit is registered at the Central Jakarta District Court in the case number 592/Pdt.G/2022/PN Jkt.Pst with the classification of cases of action against the law (PMH).
Apart from Jokowi, the other defendant in this case is the Commission General Elections (KPU), Peoples Consultative Assembly (MPR), and Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology.
In their petition, the plaintiff wants the Central Jakarta District Court to declare Jokowi has committed an unlawful act (PMH) by making incorrect information and/or provide false documents in the form of diploma (proof of graduation) Elementary School (SD), Junior High School (SMP), and Senior High School (SMA) on behalf of Joko Widodo.
The plaintiff also asked the Central Jakarta District Court to state that Jokowi had conduct PMH in the form of submitting a diploma document containing information that are not true and/or provide false documents as completeness the requirements for his candidacy are to fulfill the provisions of Article 9 paragraph (1) letter r KPU Regulation Number 22 of 2018 to be used in the process presidential and vice presidential elections for the 2019-2024 period.
