Temple Findings in Egypt Kuak Ritual Never Known
KOMPAS.COM – Archaeologists found an inscription in a temple in Egypt that depicts a ritual that has never been seen before.
The shrine itself is precisely found in the religious complex of the ancient port Berenike, a city dating to the 3rd century BC.
While the temple itself is much more modern, because it was built more from 700 years later or 4th to 6th century AD, during collapse of the Western Roman Empire.

During this time, the city was partially occupied by the Blemmyes, a group of nomadic people from the Nubia region, who had spread to many other areas in the deserts of Eastern Egypt.

All elements exhibit intense ritual activity and combining Egyptian traditions with possibly related Blemmyes with worship of the god Khonsu, explains Oller.
These findings provide new insights into the Blemmyes who living in the desert of the East during the decline of the Roman Empire, wrong the only thing is how they combine it with the belief system Egypt.
