Government Sets 24 Shared Holidays and Leave in 2023, Here’s the List

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. The government has set a holiday national and collective leave in 2023. There are as many as 24 holidays in 2023 which consists of 16 national holidays and 8 days mass leave.
The stipulation is contained in SKB No. 1006/2022, No. 3/2022 , and No. 3/2022 signed by the Minister of Religion, Minister of Manpower, and the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.
Previously, the three ministers attended a meeting chaired by Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (PMK) Muhadjir Effendy.
NATIONAL HOLIDAYS 2022
There are 16 days of national holidays. Meanwhile for leave together in 2023 set 8 days, so the total national holiday and collective leave of 24 days, explained Muhadjir at the conference the press is monitored online, Tuesday (11/10).

6. 22-23 April: Eid Al-Fitr 1444 Hijri
7. May 1: International Labor Day
8. May 18: Ascension of Isa Al Masih
9. 1 June: Pancasila Birthday
10. 4 June: Vesak Day 2567 BE
11. 29 June: Eid al-Adha 1444 Hijri
12. July 19: Islamic New Year 1445 Hijri
13. 17 August: Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia
14. 28 September: Birthday of the Prophet Muhammad
15. December 25: Christmas Day

This determination is an effort to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of working days as well as provide guidelines for government and private agencies in implementing national holidays and public holidays in 2023.
