JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg issued new regulations regarding visa applications for Indonesian passports.
The three countries known as the Benelux will refuse the application visa for Indonesian passport without the holders signature.
The regulation will come into effect on Monday (10/10/2022).
From October 10, the Netherlands (along with Belgium and Luxembourg) will only be recognize an Indonesian passport for visa application if there is a sign owners hand, or signature through an endorsement stamp from Indonesian immigration officer or Indonesian representative consular officer abroad, reads the official statement of the Dutch Embassy in Indonesia, Friday (7/10/2022) quoted from Kompas.com .

The Dutch Embassy appeals to Dutch visa applicants whose passports do not have a signature in the attestation section to request a stamp endorsement.
The approval stamp can be obtained from the immigration authority or Indonesian foreign representative office.
Even so, visa applications that have already been submitted with a passport Indonesia without a signature before 10 October 2022, will be processed.
Meanwhile, Indonesian Citizens (WNI) with passports without columns signature and have lived in the Netherlands for a long time, must ask for a stamp endorsement at the Indonesian Embassy in The Hague.
Indonesian citizens who are already in the Netherlands also need to ask for additional marks their hands to the Indonesian Embassy in the Netherlands.
