Death Accident at Mine Excavation C Mranggen, Dump Truck Fell Into 50 Meters Deep Ravine – Tribunjateng.com
TRIBUNJATENG.COM, DEMAK – A fatal accident occurred in the mining area Excavation C in Dukuh Dongko, Kebonbatur Village, Mranggen District, Demak Regency, otherwise known as Brown Cayon.
The deadly accident at the Mining C Mine on Saturday (8/10/2022) involving two dump trucks that killed a driver named Suhadi.
The accident in Demak at around 08.30 WIB began dump truck loaded with solids or sand and rock driven by Tri Wahyudi, a resident of Mirit Subdistrict, Kebumen Regency, cant stand to climb in incline path.
The dump truck then backed into another dump truck driven by Suhadi which was parked on the edge of a cliff because it was damaged.
The Mranggen Police Chief, AKP Nasoir, said that a dump truck with a cargo of Padas crashed into a dump truck that was parked and eventually fell to the ground in a ditch.
The dump truck has a load that is not strong enough to go up in the end it gets hit by a car behind him, he fell into a ravine, said Mranggen police chief AKP Nasoir when confirmed by Tribunjateng, Saturday (8/10/2022).
According to the police chiefs explanation, Tri Wahyudi had tried to put the brakes on the vehicle but because it is on an incline and full of load finally hard to control.
The truck is not strong enough to go uphill, finally the truck goes out of control and runs down backwards, because it can not be braked, he explained.
Knowing the dumpt truck being driven was out of control, Tri Wahyudi immediately jumped from the vehicle to save himself.
While the vehicle kept going backwards until it hit a dump truck parked and in it there is still Suhadi. Both trucks then fell into a ravine about 50 meters high.
As a result, Suhadi died in the unfortunate incident. While Tri Wahyudi survived.
According to the police chief, the two trucks suffered from this incident heavy damage. Losses are estimated at Rp 130 million.
Suhadi was then evacuated by local residents and taken to the house Bhayangkara Hospital Semarang. Furthermore, the body of Suhadi by the family was brought home to the funeral home. (Ito)
