Village Fund Corrupted for Marriage Charge with 2 young Wives, Ex-Kadores in Serang Banten Demanded 6.5 Years in Prison
SERANG, KOMPAS.COM – The former head of Kepandean Village, Ciruas District, Serang District, Banten Yusro was sentenced to 6 years and 6 months in prison.
Yusro was judged to be proven to be corrupt in village funds for the 2016-2018 budget year used for personal interests such as the cost of marrying two wives youth worth Rp. 695 million.
In the dossier read by the Public Prosecutor of the Prosecutor State (Kejari) Serang Mulyana at the Corruption Court (Tipikor) Attack, Yusro was found guilty of violating Article 2 paragraph 1 junto Article 18 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Corruption.
YEARS OF PRISON
Sentencing the defendant Yusro for 6 years and 6 months prison with an order that the accused remain in custody, said Mulyana reading the demands before the Chief Justice Slamet Widodo, Thursday (12/5/2022).
In addition to imprisonment, Yusro was also sentenced to pay a fine of IDR 250 million subsidiary 6 months imprisonment.
In his claim, Yusro is also required to pay replacement money worth Rp 552 million with the condition that if the defendant does not pay the money replacement no later than 1 month after the decision takes effect permanent law, then the property can be confiscated by the Prosecutor and auctioned off to cover the replacement money.

If you dont pay the replacement money, it will be replaced with a penalty imprisonment for 3 years and 6 months in prison, said Mulyana.
Before imposing a sentence, the Prosecutor considers the following: aggravating that the defendants actions did not support the program government in fighting corruption.
This makes it easier for the defendant to have family responsibilities and not yet been punished, said Mulyana.
