Want Longevity? Try Dinner Early

KOMPAS.COM – It is common knowledge, daily habits such as exercise intensity, sleep duration at night, to diet certain have a significant effect on health conditions we.
Especially regarding diet, there is recent evidence that says individuals who eat dinner at an earlier hour live longer.
The findings were revealed in a study published in the journal Frontiers in Nutrition .
This study examines a province of LAquila in Abruzzo, Italy which have a nonagenarian population (people aged between 90-99 years) and relative centenarian (people 100 years and over) tall.
Based on a survey involving 68 nonagenarian and centenarian in that region, it was found that most of the participants had more dinner early, around 7:13 p.m.

 

After digging deeper, the study researchers also noted the group strictly restricted calorie intake.
The majority of participants maintained a low calorie intake for 17.5 hours from dinner time to lunch the next day.
Participants surveyed generally consumed cereals, vegetables, fruits and nuts in high quantities.
The foods they eat in low amounts are meat, processed meats, eggs, and some sweets.
They also stay physically active by doing chores daily.
The results of our study support the importance of daily calorie restriction, according to the study researchers.
Daily calorie restriction inhibits nocturnal postprandial stress and optimizes metabolic responses related to food consumption high vegetable and physical activity for long life para centenarian in Abruzzo.
