Because business people are always busy thinking about product supply processed abroad because it is profitable and they forget Its task is to meet domestic needs, said Mansuetus Darto in a statement press release, Sunday (24/4/2022).
However, as a result of the policy, Darto admitted that prices began to decline fresh fruit bunches (FFB). Since yesterday, FFB in Sekadau, West Kalimantan, decreased by IDR 400/kilogram. Meanwhile, in Jambi, it decreased by Rp. 500/kilogram
Therefore, Darto asked to record the names of the farmers who supply to mills to reduce FFB prices.
Because Darto said, this event will benefit the factory because when the situation is normal, they will sell CPO at normal price but they buy FFB from farmers at low prices.
Therefore, the recording at the factory must be clear, so that the profit they could be returned to the farmers when the normal situation was the money. This is an alternative solution, said Darto.
The other solution is to allocate palm oil funds at the Management Agency Palm Oil Plantation Fund (BPDPKS) with innovative programs, for example with the help of fertilizers or based on the needs of farmers.
Because if prices fall, farmers cannot buy fertilizer, he explained.
Furthermore, Darto revealed, the problem of rising cooking oil prices this will always happen going forward. Because cooking oil business actors control upstream to downstream palm oil, by owning plantations up to cooking oil refinery process.
Its a shame, the country doesnt have a cooking oil refinery so that Jokowi has homework to strengthen farmer cooperatives or state enterprise to develop a cooking oil refinery, ok? micro and large scale.
