TRIBUNJABAR.ID, BANDUNG – Place of business laundry and food stalls Geprek chicken burned on Jalan Ibrahim Adjie, Cijarua Village, Buahbatu District, Bandung City, Saturday (23/4/2022) at around 19.50 WIB.
Based on witness testimony, Hafizh (25), the owner of Warung Sate Solo, which is adjacent to the geprek chicken shop, the fire started when there is a leak from the three kilogram gas cylinder for the steam ironing machine.
So the laundry employee had time to take the gas cylinder out because there was one sound leaked out, but was soon brought back inside, said Hafizh to Tribunjabar.id , Saturday (23/4/2022).
Hafizh admitted that after the gas cylinders were brought back to the laundry place, there were two explosions and the fire immediately burned the place the laundry .
Because at the laundry there are lots of clothes and washing machines too The fire immediately became big and continued to spread to the geprek chicken shop next door, said Hafizh.
Ayi Sriwiguna, the head of the local RT, said that the incident happened caused two employees where laundry suffered burns.
There were two employees who were victims, namely Dede (37) and Dani (25), has been taken to the Pindad Hospital, said Ayi.
The Platoon Commander of the Bandung City Diskar PB Central Post, Solehudin, said the fire was extinguished within an hour.
Due to the quick action, luckily the fire didnt spread to the house residents or nearby Solo satay stalls, said Solehudin.
Based on Tribunjabar.id s monitoring at the scene, the Diskar team PB Bandung City deployed 8 vehicles to extinguish the fire the fire.
For this incident, Udin Safruddin, the owner of Green Clean Laundry which burned suffered losses of up to hundreds of millions of rupiah. (*)
