Terms of Boarding Garuda Indonesia and Citilink during Eid 2022

KOMPAS.COM – People who will go home for Eid 2022 use aircraft are required to know the latest terms and conditions of each airline.
Airlines that are members of the Garuda Indonesia Group stated, the conditions for the 2022 Eid homecoming for Garuda Indonesia and Citilink refers to the latest Circular (SE) of the Minister of Transportation.
Follow government regulations circulated through Circulars (SE), said the President Director of Garuda Indonesia, Irfan Setiaputra Kompas.com (24/04/2022).

 

The terms and conditions for going home by airplane are regulated in the Decree of the Minister of Transportation Number 36 of 2022 concerning Implementation Guidelines Travel of Domestic People By Air Transportation At The Time Covid-19 pandemic. The rule will take effect on April 5, 2022.
Furthermore, the rule was changed by adding one provision through SE Minister of Transportation Number 48 of 2022 concerning Amendments to Circular Letters Minister of Transportation Number SE 36 of 2022 concerning Instructions Implementation of Domestic Travel by Air Transportation During the Covid-19 Pandemic.
The new rules take effect from April 19, 2022.

1. Passengers who have received the third dose of vaccine or booster not required to show a negative result of the RT-PCR test or swab test antigens.
2. Passengers who have received the mandatory second dose of vaccination shows a negative result of the rapid antigen test for which the sample is taken within 1×24 hours, or a negative RT-PCR result whose sample is taken 3×24 hours before departure as a condition of travel.
Passengers aged 6-17 are excluded from this second point.
3. Passengers who have received the mandatory first dose of vaccination showed a negative result of RT-PCR whose samples were taken 324 hours before departure.
4. Passengers with special health conditions or comorbid diseases which causes unable to receive vaccination, must show RT-PCR negative results whose samples were taken 3 x 24 hours before departure.
Travelers in this category are also required to attach a certificate doctor from a government hospital who stated that the concerned have not and/or cannot participate in the Covid-19 vaccination.

 

BOARDING A PLANE
5. Passengers under the age of 6 are excluded from the conditions vaccination and is not required to show a negative result of RT-PCR or rapid antigen test. However, travelers in this category must be accompanied by travel companion who meets the vaccination requirements and Covid-19 checks and implement strict health protocols.
6. Passengers aged 6-17 and have received the second dose of vaccination exempt from the obligation to show a negative swab test result antigens. However, travelers in this category must attach a second dose vaccine card/certificate.
The rule adds that liability shows negative results RT-PCR test for travelers who have just vaccinated the first dose, excluded for pioneer air freight. Including flights in border areas as well as 3T areas (lagging, leading, outermost), according to local conditions.
