Boy’s Hand in Kediri Destroyed Because Firecracker Explosion That Had Been Thought Failed to Explode
KEDIRI, KOMPAS.COM- A child with the initials DAM (9) in Kediri, Java Timur, was rushed to the hospital because his hand was crushed, Sunday (24/4/2022).
The right hand of a resident of Blabak Village, Kandat District was seriously injured was hit by a firecracker explosion which was initially thought to have failed to explode.

Head of Sector Police (Kapolsek) Ngadiluwih Adjunct Commissioner of Police Iwan Setyo Budi said the incident occurred on Jalan Kromosari Banjarejo Village, Ngadiluwih District.
The incident happened at around 05.30 WIB, said AKP Iwan Setyo Budi, Sunday (24/4/2022).
The incident started when DAM was about to enjoy the time after eating sahur. Without saying goodbye to his parents, he left the house on a wind bike to the location.
At that location he saw a group of people ignite a firecrackers. But after a long wait, the firecracker did not explode.
Then DAM confirmed it by kicking it and still not explode.

So he took the firecracker with his right hand. When you are in his hand, suddenly the firecracker exploded.
The victim suffered serious injuries to his right hand and was rushed to the hospital Simpang Lima Gumul for handling.
