TRIBUNNEWS.COM – Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) deliver early warnings of extreme weather in a number of areas Indonesia for Thursday (21/4/2022) tomorrow.
There are some areas that get weather early warnings extreme from BMKG.
Through its official website, BMKG predicts 28 areas with the potential to rain accompanied by lightning or thunder and strong winds.
Meanwhile, 5 areas are predicted to have the potential for rain which can be accompanied by rain lightning or thunder and strong winds.
THE POTENTIAL FOR A LOUD OF RAIN WITH WIND
EXTREME IN 32 REGIONS OF INDONESIA
BMKG informs that there is a Monitored Low Pressure Center in southwest of Banten which forms a convergence area extending from west coast of West Sumatra to Lampung.
In addition, the Cyclonic Circulation in Kalimantan, in Pacific Ocean north of West Papua, and in the Arafura Sea which forms the the longitudinal convergence area in West Kalimantan, in the Pacific Ocean north of West Papua, and from the Arafuru Sea to the Timor Sea.
Other Convergence Areas are observed extending from Aceh to North Sumatra, Kep. Bangka Belitung, from the northern waters of West Java to the south of Central Java, from the waters north to south of Java Central, in the Indian Ocean south of West Java, from East Kalimantan to West Kalimantan, in South Kalimantan, in part of Sulawesi central, in NTT, in North Maluku, and from West Papua to Papua.
These conditions are able to increase the potential for rain cloud growth in the around the cyclonic circulation region and along the the convergence/confluence.
