Analog TV Broadcasts Begin to Be Discontinued April 30, 2022, It’s How To Switch to Digital TV Broadcast – TribunNews.com
TRIBUNNEWS.COM – Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemenkominfo) will do Analog Switch Off (ASO) or stop TV broadcast Analog gradually.
According to the Minister of Communication and Informatics Regulation No. 6 of 2021 (which has been revised with the Minister of Communication and Informatics Regulation No. 11/2021) regarding the Implementation of Broadcasting, there are three stages in the termination of Analog TV broadcasts.
The first stage will be on April 30, 2022, the second stage will be on August 25 2022, and the third stage November 2, 2022.
Therefore, the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) urges the public to immediately replace Analog TV broadcasts to Digital TV.
Meanwhile, in the first stage, there were 166 regencies/cities that will terminate Analog TV broadcasts.
