Jor-Joran Debt To China Up to Rp71 Trillion But Not Able To Pay To Claim Bankrupt, This Is The Fate Of Sri Lanka On The Verge Of Destruction – Quintessence

INTISARI-ONLINE.COM – Protests spread throughout SRI LANKA, while President Gotabaya Rajapaksas government faces the risk of collapse because of the current ECONOMIC crisis.
The political crisis has become more serious in SRI LANKA because of the President Gotabaya Rajapaksa faces pressure to resign at amid increasing protests against the countrys difficult ECONOMIC situation.
On April 12, the Central Bank of SRI LANKA declared that the country BANKRUPT, unable to pay its foreign debt.
Debt to CHINA has piled up to over 5 billion US dollars (Rp 71.7 trillion) for the construction of various infrastructure projects, including roads, airports and ports.
According to CNN , the situation of people taking to the streets to protest President Rajapaksa has been going on for weeks.
Initially only a few hundred people in the capital city of Colombo, then the number increased to thousands and spread throughout the region the big city of SRI LANKA.
Most of them are young people, the younger generation in the era high-tech and unsure of their future when witness the state of crisis of the country.
On the streets of Colombo, people put up banners against government, opposed inflation and called for Rajapaksa to step down.
Expert Jehan Perera of the SRI organisasi National Peace Council organization LANKA, said that the scale and composition of protests in the past has not been happened before.
