Palestinians Call Israeli Raid on Al-Aqsa Equivalent to Declaration of War, Ask for International Intervention

JERUSALEM, KOMPAS.TV – The Palestinian Authority asks the community international intervention in tensions at the Al-Aqsa Mosque complex, Jerusalem, after the violent incident broke out on Friday (15/4/2022). Palestinians fear that the Israeli police raid incident could make uncontrollable situation.
This was conveyed by a spokesman for the Palestinian president, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, Friday (15/4/2022). He likened the Israeli police raid to mosque with a declaration of war.
The actions of the Israeli police, who invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and Al-Qibli Mosque is tantamount to a declaration of war against the nation Palestine, Rudeineh told news agency WAFA via TASS.
Immediate intervention from the international community is needed to stop this aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque and prevent the situation from escalating uncontrollably, he added.
