KOMPAS.COM – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) announced a joint leave Idul Fitri 2022 will be four days on April 29 and May 4-6. If collected, the total time for this years Eid holiday is 10 days.

The number of holidays may increase. If someone is still can apply for additional leave at work, then the day off can be more than 10 days.
The decision regarding the 2022 Eid al-Fitr joint leave has been submitted Jokowi through a press release on the Presidential Secretariats YouTube account, Wednesday (6/4/2022).
The government has set a national holiday for Eid al-Fitr 1443 Hijri on May 2 and 3, 2022, and also set leave together with Eid al-Fitr, namely on April 29, 4, 5, and May 6, 2022. Decisions regarding this joint leave will be regulated in more detail through a joint decision of the relevant ministers, said Jokowi.
He said, the community can take advantage of this years joint leave to stay in touch with parents, family, and friends in hometown.
For information, during the previous two years, leave with Eid was abolished by the government. This is done to prevent transmission of the Covid-19 virus in the community.
