Jokowi Supporting Party Discuss Duet Anies Baswedan and East Java Perempun, Will Be Brought to the Leadership Meeting – Tribunjabar.id
TRIBUNJABAR.ID, JAKARTA – The name of Anies Baswedan, the governor of DKI Jakarta considered to run in the 2024 presidential election.
Even the aspiration for Anies Baswedan to fight in the 2024 presidential election has been fulfilled into the party supporting Jokowis government, PPP.
That aspiration entered the DKI Jakarta PPP DPW, wanting a duet Anies Baswedan with the Governor of East Java, Khofifah Indar Parawansa.
The name Anies Baswedan has always been in the top five in a number of the results of the 2024 presidential election survey.
Even had several times defeated the General Chair of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subuanto and Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo.
DKI Jakarta PPP DPW will hold a regional leadership meeting (Rapimwil) which will discuss the recommendations for the names of presidential and vice presidential candidates for then recommended in the National Meeting of the DPP PPP, this afternoon, Thursday (14/3/22).

Regional Secretary of DKI PPP DPW Mumtaza Rabbany or Gus Najmi admits there is an aspiration to carry the name of the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, and East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa to run in the 2024 presidential election.
Thats one of the aspirations but we havent ratified it because its through Rapimwil we will slowly discuss including the criteria, said Gus Najmi when contacted by telephone, Thursday.
At the Rapimwil this afternoon, said Gus Najmi, his party will discuss regarding the criteria for the cawapres candidate first, however, for the name candidate is not final.
The names Anies and Khofifah, recognized by Najmi, are the aspirations of lower society.
Indeed, that is the aspiration of the lower community and moreover we are in the position DKI Jjakarta who directly felt the impact of his leadership, he said.
Later, the results of the meeting will be submitted to the PPP DPP in a meeting national leadership (rapimnas) the day after tomorrow.
As for what the result will be, we will recommend it to the DPP in the national meeting which will start the day after tomorrow, he said.

First, recommend Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate and Khofifah Indar Parawansa as candidate for vice president in Indonesia 2024 presidential election. Second, ask PPPs DPP to form a coalition with political parties who voice the aspirations of Muslims.
